The Internet of things (IoT) technology constitutes a radical change in the quality of life in society, allowing the interconnection of hardware and software; this technology is in constant development, and its application is being exploited in the poultry sector, generating important benefits in this field of action, such as the digitization of production processes. In this context, this chapter implements a monitoring system for the environment of a poultry house based on IoT, with the capacity to process, analyze, and store information obtained through sensors and other devices. The V-based methodology was used. The system is composed of three layers: a monitoring web system layer, a data layer, and the third layer, a layer for detecting information from the house. This layer oversees the data loading process through the set of wireless sensors installed in the shed. In addition, the database is hosted in the cloud, thus eliminating the installation of local servers. The web system layer is composed of the system administration module and the monitoring module, accessed through roles. To test the system, it was put to the test for twelve days, the results obtained indicated that the time to determine the temperature, humidity, and air quality decreased to 28 s after the implementation of the system, making this proposal serve as a support tool for the automatic monitoring of the variables of the galpón environment.
