Abstract
Inspired on the events of success and fail of targeted delivery drugs, this paper has opted by the usage of classical electrodynamics in conjunction to the diffusion equation to study the possible scenarios that allow the internalization of nanoparticles into tumors by the therapeutic payloads. Thus, the present theoretical formulation takes into account the spherical as well as cylindric geometries that would adapt to the case where nanoparticles transits along the blood vessel targeting a sphere-like tumor cell. Also it is emphasized the role of diffusion coefficient that would have a crucial role to expect a full success at the sending of nanoparticles. According to the results of this paper, the action of delivery might be dependent on the geometry of both tumor and nanoparticles as well as the diffusivity of the medium.
